  • Sunday services at Glad Tidings church are so amazing! Their worship is intense, real and passionate! Their workers are friendly, loving and so dedicated in their work. The Senior Pastor is a wonderful man of God who has a beautiful family, all involved in different ministries of the church. What is so incredible is that you will see people from all walks of life and from different cultures, truly so diversified. I always look forward to their varied events because I love their inspiring messages. It's so uplifting and it encourages my spirit to seek God more! This church lives up to their shared purpose and that is to love God and to let His love known to others!

  • Being new to SF, spent some time looking for a church to be a part of. When I first came here, I noticed that people were very friendly, there was a lot of diversity, and people were serious about being real with Jesus. That was several years ago and still attending. The church is continuing to grow and filled with people who want a serious relationship with Jesus Christ. In addition to two Sunday services, there are several ways to get plugged in and form great relationships with people. There are several Friday night groups where people get together to hang out and have good fun. There are also several men's only groups going on Thursdays and it's likely that one is taking place near where you live. This is a great time of meeting other men, a time to build Christ based relationships, and enjoy some great food. Bottom line is that if you're looking for a real church without the smoke and mirrors, check out Glad Tidings.

  • Often, my past experiences of church were one-dimensional. Everyone looked the same, prayed the same, worshiped the same, and there was very little expository preaching and/or teaching being presented to the congregation. Discipleship was foreign and fellowship appeared to be an extinct past time that was put to death with the last super, but then I found Glad Tidings Church.

A place where religious structures are broken down to the lowest common denominator, a JESUS that SAVES. A place of diversity in people, worship and prayer. A place of refuge and hope for the broken. A place where the Holy Spirit grooms humility, passion and an active prayer life. A place where the bible is studied not just read. A place that teaches generational cycles of destruction, condemnation and conviction can be nailed and then crushed at the foot of the cross. A place where there is an authentic move of the Holy Spirit that has allowed me to see and be an active participant with a real God, that heals hearts, forgives, and transforms all willing persons for a life of lasting change. A place where the importance of finishing the race with Jesus is underlined in red. A place where God loves me just as I am, wow! A church whose foundational beliefs start with Jesus and end with Jesus. If you, as I was for so many years put on the garments of a Christian, perhaps its time for a makeover. Glad Tidings is not perfect nor is it heaven, but it is definitely a great appetizer for what heaven on earth looks like. I am happy to now say that I have found my church home.

  • Such a lively and diverse community to walk into. People are very welcoming and excited to help get you connected. There are a lot of opportunities to learn more about the church and become involved.

They have different Friday night groups that plan activities and help build relationships which can be hard, especially if you're new to the city!

There are two services Sunday morning and one on Wednesday evenings. The worship team and band are great! Definitely an encouraging and uplifting environment to be in.
